Jacob Layland Dies in
Guthrie Center Hospital--------
Jacob Layland, who resided on a
farm south of Audubon, passed
away Sunday, April 3rd at the
Harrison hospital in Guthrie Center,
following an operation. He
had been ailing for sometime and a
week before his death was taken to
the hospital.He is survived by six children,
five boys, W. C., Lester, Dallas,
Harold and George, of near Audubon;
one daughter, Mrs. Clarence
Davis of Exira. A daughter, Mrs.
Nancy Dryden, preceded him to
the Great Beyond.Note: Parents of Jacob "Jake" Layland were William Layland and Nancy Carpenter. Jacob was married to Carrie C. Low.
