Adalaide Callen, wife of Preston A. Callen, at her home near Moravia, Iowa, June 4th, 1883.

Sister Callen was a member of the Methodist church, converted under the labors of Rev. S. S. Daly, and but a year ago joined in marriage to Bro. Callen.

The writer will not soon forget the beautiful tributes of love given to her on this occasion. For years she was an orphan, yet not homeless. To know her was not only to love her, but long to be like her. Her life was simply beautiful. She is listening for the dip of the oar that shall waft her over to that Heavenly land. H.E.W.
