Mrs. Marie Hornsten and Vaner E. Hornsten, Ph. M. 1-c, U. S. Navy,
were reunited in marriage in a simple church ceremony at 7:45, Tuesday evening, December 5, at the First Presbyterian church of San Bernardino, California, Dr. C. B.
Cavitt reading the service.
The couple was attended by Miss Margaret Anne Hornsten, of Atlantic, Iowa, daughter of the bride and bridegroom, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Forker, of Rialto, Calif.
The bride was attractively attired in a navy blue wool suit with matching accessories and wore a corsage of white chrysanthemums.
Margaret Anne wore a wool dress of rose toned wool with black accessories.
Mrs. Forker wore a soldier blue tailored wool jersey.
Following the ceremony the bridal party was served a tastefully prepared fried chicken supper at "The Pit," a wayside inn near San Bernardino.
Phm. 1-c and Mrs. Hornsten will enjoy a short honeymoon while the bridegroom is on leave from the naval base hospital at Long Beach, Calif.
The bride has been a resident of Atlantic, Iowa, for the past seven years and was until recently employed at the Atlantic hospital. She will spend the next few months on the west coast with her husband.
The Hornstens, former residents of Moulton, have the best wishes of their many friends here.
