Miss Georgia Jennings
Wedding Is Announced
Announcements have been received here of the marriage of Miss Georgia Jennings to Mr. Frank L. Farner, both of Caldwell, Idaho. The ceremony was performed Sunday, February 19, at the First Christian Church in Caldwell. Mrs. Farner is well known in Moulton and vicinity, having taken an active part in the life of the community when living here. For many years she was employed at the E. Wood Co. Store as bookkeeper. The many Moulton friends extend best wishes for a happy married life. Mr. and Mrs. Farner will be at home after March 1 at Sunnyside Drive, Caldwell, Idado.

Jennings - Farner

Miss Georgia Jennings daughter of Mrs. Belle Jennnings, became the bride of Mr. Frank Farner of Caldwell, Idaho, Sunday, February 19, 1950 at 8:30 a. m.—the date which was the 69th wedding anniversary of the brides mother. The vows of the simple and impressive double ring ceremony were conferred by Reverend Murle Jones before the altar of the First Christian Church of Caldwell, Idaho in the presence of near relatives of the bride and bridegroom.
The bride wore a navy blue suit with aqua accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds and white gardenias, carrying out the old tradition of:

Something old, something new,
Something borrowed, something blue,
And a silver dollar in her shoe.

Mrs. Will Jennings of Nyssa, Oregon, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor. She wore a two piece ensemble of powder blue with
navy blue accessories and a corsage of burnt orange rosebuds and white gardenias.
Mr. Will Jennings of Nyssa, Oregon brother of the bride, served as best man.
Mrs. Jennings, mother of the bride, wore an old rose ensemble with black accessories. Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served in the parlor of the Dewey Palace Hotel, at Nampa, Idaho.
The bride served as bookkeeper for the E. Wood Co. of Moulton, Iowa for several years. During the war, she spent fifteen months at the P. X. in Roswell, New Mexico, as head cashier. She has been employed at the First National Bank of Caldwell, Idaho, for almost six years.
Mr. Farner, the bridegroom, is a business man of Caldwell, Idaho, owning and managing a grocery store on North Fifth Street.
After a motor trip to various points east, the couple will be at home to their friends at105 Sunny Side Drive, Caldwell, Idaho.
