HOWELL—TURNER
A Wedding which was of much interest was quietly solemized by the Rev. H. B. Scoles, pastor of the M. E. Church at Fairfield, at his home on
Friday, December 24th, 1926, at 4:30 p. m., when Louisa B. Howell of Lockridge, Iowa, and Harold C. Turner of Mystic, Iowa, were united in marriage, they were acompanied by the parents of the bride.
The bride was attired in a gown of Rosewood flat crepe trimmed in the new nude and wore hose to match the trimming and black patent leather
slippers. The groom was attired in suit of the conventional blue. After the ring ceremony was performed the party drove to the home of the bride's parents, eleven miles north of Fairfield where on the following day the mother of the bride served a bountiful wedding dinner.
Mrs. Turner is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Howell of Lockridge, Iowa, where they have lived the past two years. With the exception of these two years she lived in the Moravia community and also attended the High School here. She is an active worker in the Sunday School and M. E. Church affairs and is a talented young lady with a kind and loving disposition.
Mr. Turner is the son of Mrs. C. F. Turner of Mystic, and is a fine and progressive young farmer, being well liked by all who know him. They expect to be at home on a farm northwest of Mystic after December 28th, in the home he has prepared for his bride. Hearty congratulations are extended to this happy young couple.
