Moravia UnionWHISLER—CALLEN
Mr. and Mrs. Albert H. Whisler announce the marriage of their daughter, Wilma Olive, to J. LeRoy Callen, on Saturday April the second, nineteen hundred and twenty-seven, at Albia Iowa.
The above announcement has been received by relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Callen the past few days and although there was a rumor afloat that such an event had taken place, it comes as a surprise to great many of their friends.
Mrs. Callen, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Whisler of the Udell neighborhood, is one of the county's successful school teachers
and one of Udell's most popular young ladies. The past year she has been the teacher at Scattersburg school. The groom needs no introduction to the people of this community. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Callen of this city and holds the respect and confidence of a large number of acquaintances and friends. Following his graduation from the Moravia High
School he attended the State University for one year and the following year was a student at Iowa Wesleyan College. Since that time he has been employed as an instructor in the Udell schools and has been re-elected for his third year.
This happy couple will have the congratulations and best wishes of a host of friends.
