LEVI THOMAS, far., Sec. 36; P.O. Kirkwood; born Oct. 5, 1848; in Indiana; in 1858 came to Appanoose Co. with his parents; has been a resident of this county since with the exception of seven years spent in Kansas; he owns 175 acres of land, valued at $25 per acre. Married Lucy J. Thomas, Jan. 25, 1869; she was born Nov. 15, 1852 in Appanoose Co.; have four children - Ida B., E.W., D.E., and L.M. Members M.E. Church.
