Mrs. Elizabeth Hendrickson of Paint Creek township celebrated her 86th birthday anniversary Monday at the home of her son, Henry, near Waterville. Her two daughters, Miss Bertha and Mrs. Lena Glynn were in attendance.
Mrs. Hendrickson was born in Norway Oct. 13, 1844, and came to this country at the age of 22 years. In 1868 she was united in marriage to Aslag Hendrickson and they made their home on a farm in Paint Creek township. In 1912 her husband died and since that time she has made her home with her son Henry.
Besides the two daughters, she is the mother of four sons, Albert, Anton and Elmer, all of Canton, S.D., and Henry of Waterville.
Despite her advanced age Mrs. Hendrickson is in very good health and is unusually active.
