A quiet but pleasant wedding occured at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Goldsmith near Quincy [Iowa] at noon February 1,1899, in the marriage of their daughter, Enola, to Everett A. Tucker of Brooks; Rev. J.D. Sparks officiating. The near relatives were present,an excellent dinner was served and it was a merry crowd and an enjoyable occasion.
The bride and groom are worthy of the high esteem in which they are held and the many good wishes bestowed upon them. Their place of residence will be about two miles northwest of Brooks. A reception was given them February 2 at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Tucker, near Brooks.
