At the home of the bride's father, Mr. H.D. Bullock, Wednesday evening, December 28,1898. Miss Cora Bullock and Mr. Emery Starr, Rev. Sparks assisted by Rev. Rowley officiating. The ceremony occurred in the double parlors before a large assemblage of relatives and friends, the wedding party being ushered in by a march played by Silas Sampson. First came the ministers followed by the bridesmaid, Miss Ada Starr, accompanied by the groomsman, Mr. A. W. Poston, preceding the bride and groom.
After the ceremonies were completed and congratulations extended supper was announced, of which no comment is necessary for it was a grand affair. After the sumptuous supper all repaired to the parlor and spent several hours in cheerful conversation after which they dispersed to their homes. Thus two of our most esteemed young people have joined hands for life, and have commenced what their many friends hope will be a wedded career of happiness and prosperity.
A reception was given at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Starr, on Thursday evening which was largely attended and enjoyed by the friends of the two families.
