Miss Stella Lockwood and Roy Houck, of the vicinity of Carbon, were married last Wednesday (September 29,1909) at high noon, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Davis W.Lockwood, Rev . J.A. Nayle, pastor of the Methodist church of Carbon, officiating, in the presence of about forty guests.
Miss Joy Houck acted as bridesmaid and Tom Hardesty as groomsman. The parlors were tastefully decorated with roses. A three course wedding dinner was served. The bride and groom were born and raised in the neighorhood of Carbon and are well known young people. Congratulations are extended.
