December 25, 1917, Miss Bessie J. Johannes, one of the successful teachers of Adams County's rural schools, and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Johannes, of the vicinity of Mt. Etna, and Vernon O. Westrope, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Westrope, of Lincoln township, were united in marriage.
The groom is a sterling young farmer. Mr. and Mrs. Westrope will be at home to their friends after March first, 1918, in Lincoln township. They have the best wishes of a large circle of friends.
