Meryl Fett, 80, passed away March 8, 2012, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of Adair; two daughters, Regina Fett of Waterloo, Iowa, and Renee (Doug) Schmidt of Ocheyedan, Iowa; four grandchildren, Cortney Schmidt of Knoxville, Iowa, Brett Schmidt of Ames, Iowa, Troy Schmidt of Ames, Iowa and Kailey Schmidt of Ocheyedan, Iowa; one brother, Marvin (JoAnn) Fett of Adair; nieces, grand-niece and grand-nephew, great-great-niece and nephews; and many cousins and friends.
Preceding Meryl in death were his parents, Fred and Freda Fett and one sister, Doris Fett.
Funeral services for Meryl and his sister, Doris, will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Adair, Iowa.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Hockenberry Funeral Home in Adair.
Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Adair, Iowa.
