Golden Wedding Anniversary--Mr. and Mrs. A.F. (Tony) Schmitz will be honored on their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass of Thanksgiving at 8 am, Sunday, Oct 23, in the Immaculate Conception Church at Van Horne. An open house will be held from 2 to 4:30pm. in the parish hall. All relatives and friends are welcome. Mr. Schmitz and the former Laura Nolan were married Oct 25, 1916, in Van Horne. They have one son, Donald, and one grandson, Michael, of Van Horne, and a foster son, Edward Mathews of Vinton.
