Married At Clear Lake.. The following announcement has been received by friends here: Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Aitchison announce the marriage of their daughter Mildred Opel to Mr. James Harvey Ransom, on Wednesday, August the 27th, 1919, Clear Lake, Iowa. The bride is a stranger here, the groom being born here and is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ransom and grand son of the late James H. Ransom The happy couple will make their home on the Ransom home near Clear Lake.

Are Married At Nevada
Mrs. Mable Canfield And Nathan C. Ransom Are United In The Bonds Of Holy Matrimony.
On Wednesday, January 14, 1920, at the home of the groom’s sister, Mys. D. G. Welty, in Nevada, in the presence of a few near relatives, occurred the marriage of Mrs. Mable Canfield and Nathan C. Ransom, of Blairstown.
The bride has been a resident of this place the past four years, coming here from Van Horne. The past year she has resided in the home of Dr. and Mrs. T. L. Thomson.
During her residence here she has made many lasting friends.
The groom is a son of the late James H. Ransom, and has spent most of his life here, having come here with his parents when a young lad and grew to manhood here. For the past ten years he has held the position of maintainer for the Halls Signal System on the C. & N. W. R. R., the division running from Belle Plaine to Norway. He is a member of the Blairstown school board, being its president at the present time.
