The bride wore a gown of dark blue and carried a bouquet of pink roses. She is a daughter of Mrs. Charles Grief of Iroquis, South Dakota. While a stranger to many here, she made friends of those whom she met during a visit here a number of months ago, when she was quest in the Nieland home. She will receive a hearty welcome in the community.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Nieland and spent all of his life in Benton County, residing with his parents west of town until about a year ago, when he left for northwest Iowa, where he met the young lady of his choice. His is a splendid young man and has followed farming as a vocation. After spending a few weeks on a honeymoon trip, visiting relatives, they will take up their residence on the Frank Kouba farm southwest of town, where they will be at home to their friends after March 1st.
