Vinton
Married - A largely attended wedding took place at the residence of the bride's parents near Vinton, Iowa, Dec. 18, 1884. The ceremony was performed by Rev. H. S. Church, pastor of the M. E. Church. The contracting parties were Mr. Wm. R. Lord, of California and Miss Sarah A. Henry, only daughter of J. W. Henry. A sumptous [sic] repast was served after the ceremony and, notwithstanding the severe weather, it was a very enjoyable occasion. Many nice presents were received.
