Thursday evening at eight o'clock occurred the marriage of Mrs. Susan Allen, of this place and Mr. J. H. Lizer, of La Porte, Rev. F. L. Loveland of the Methodist church officiating. Mrs. Lizer has made her home in Vinton for a number of years and has many friends who will extend best wishes. Mr. Lazer made his home of late years in La Porte where he is a highly respected citizen. Mr. and Mrs. Lizer will reside in Vinton occupying the home owned by the bride in south part of town.
