Lewis - Hastings - At the residence of the bride's parents, in Vinton, Iowa, Dec. 24, 1884, by Rev. E. H. Avery, Mr. James Lewis, of Rochester, N. Y. and Miss Phebe Hastings.
Under the appropriate head in another column will be found the marriage notice of another Vinton lady, Miss Phoebe Hastings. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis took their departure, Wednesday evening, for Rochester, N. Y., where Mr. L. is engaged in business. Mrs. Lewis is a lady of intelligence and refinement and is well fitted to adorn any society in which she may be. Many good wishes go with her to her new home.
