Alice Moore Wed In Santa Ana, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. O. K. Moore announced the marriage of their daughter, Alice E., to Marvin D. Knipp, son of Mrs. Lillian Helm of Shellsburg. The wedding took place Nov. 20 at the army air base in Santa Ana, Calif. The camp chaplain performed the servcie [sic] at 6:30 p. m.
The bride wore a powder blue silk crepe dress with navy accessories. Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Ledger of Long Beach, Calif.
Mrs. Knipp was graduated from the Blairstown high school and was employed in Belle Plaine for the last three years. Mr. Knipp, a graduate of the Shellsburg high school, was employed by LaPlant Choate in Cedar Rapids before his induction into the army.
