Golden Anniversary March 15.
Mr. and Mrs. Rollin O. Johnson of Vinton, formerly of the Prairie Creek community, will observe their golden wedding anniversary by holding open house from two until five o'clock Sunday, March 15, in the Fellowship hall of the new Christian church on Highway 218 in west Vinton.
Rollin Johnson and the former Mabel Benson were married March 11, 1914, near Urbana by the Rev. S. D. Noah. Mr. Johnson is a retired employee of Allis Chalmers. They are parents of two daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Doris) Burkhart of Vinton and Mrs. Harold (Edna) Greaser of Cedar Rapids. There are four grandsons, Gary, Douglas and Greg Greaser and Larry Burkhart.
