Belle Plaine
Last Sunday was the thirty-sixth anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. Hardy, and that accounts for the apparition of two elegant easy chairs in the morning which met the startled gaze of the family. One was an arm chair for the groom, and the other a rocking chair for the bride, both left there by neighbors as a pleasant surprise. In the evening the couple were called upon and congratulated by several friends.
