Anna B. Yerkes
Vinton— -Mrs. Anna B. Yerkes, 80, at her home here Tuesday of a heart ailment; nee Anna Belle Tilson, Oct. 9, 1864, to Mr. and Mrs. David Tilson, in Vinton; on July 5, 1888, she was married to William Harrison Pierce, who died May 13, 1895; to this union one son, C. F. Pierce was born, who is now living in Cedar Rapids; on Oct. 24, 1923, she was married to William Yerkes in Vinton; leaves husband, one grandson, Lt. Franklin Pierce, U. S. army; funeral at the Alcorn-Martin funeral home Friday at 2 p. m.; burial in Evergreen cemetery.

Twin Daughters of E.S. Yerkes
Born, to Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Yerkes in Cedar Rapids, July 8, twin girls, both dying soon after birth. The children were buried in the cemetery near the U.B. church east of this city. The parents have the sympathy of their many friends here and in Cedar Rapids.
