HOLD FUNERAL SLAIN WOMAN HERE SATURDAY

Announcement was made this afternoon that the funeral of Mrs. Eva Winegarden, who was murdered yesterday morning by her husband, D. Winegarden, at their farm home near Keswick, Iowa will be held here Saturday at 2:00p.m. at the Fry funeral home. The rites will be conducted by the Rev. Wm. Caldwell, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Big Grove Cemetery.
Winegarden, who used a crow-bar to crush his wife's skull, died at 11:00 a.m. yesterday of a self inflicted shotgun wounds. His funeral was held at Keswick. The body of Mrs. Winegarden was expected to arrive here this afternoon, accompanied by a daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Palmer, resident of Big Grove Township.
