Death of a Child
Ruth Tinkham
Ruth, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Tinkham, passed away at their home last Friday morning. She had been sick for the past six weeks, but was not thought to be seriously ill until about two weeks ago. Last Wednesday evening there was a decided change and from that time until Friday morning she gradually grew weaker.
Ruth was an unusually bright child and a great favorite with her little friends, always looking ahead for their welfare. She was born in Vinton May 13, 1898, and her few short years were spent here. The parents have the sympathy of the entire community, in this their hour of bereavement.
