Oldest Resident of Iowa dies

Enos W. Rutan, Shellsburg Pioneer, Succumbs
Shellsburg-Nov 17-(Special) Enos W. Rutan, 80 resident of this vicinity for 53 years, died Sunday at the home of his only daughter Mrs. Herbert Dickinson; Jr., at Harvey, Ill. The remains will arrive here today; funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 at the Presbyterian church in charge of Rev. M.L. Neill. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery besides the remains of his wife who died 8 years ago.
