Roy Norris
Vinton — Roy Norris, Sunday, of heart attack at Independence hospital; had farmed for 53 years in Benton county near Vinton; retired to Vinton, then lived in Waterloo and Dunkerton for short time, returning to Vinton; born Nov. 11. 1876, at Sidney, Ind., son of Mr. and Mrs. James Norris; came with parents to Benton county when young boy; married Rebecca Yerkes near Vinton Oct. 11, 1904; leaves wife, one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Gustafson, Minneapolis, Minn.; two grandchildren; members of Evangelical United Brethren church; funeral, Tuesday at 2 p. m. at Fry and Holland funeral home, Vinton; burial in Evergreen.
