Clara Iowna Munson
Clara Iowna Munson was born at Belle Plaine, March 23, 1914 and died December 29, 1921 at the age of 7 years, 9 months and 6 days.
Clara was sick about a week and died from the result of an operation for appendicitis.
She leaves to mourn he loss, a father, Mike Munson; a mother, Carrie Munson; a brother Martin; a grandfather on her mother's side in Norway as well as relatives and friends.
She was baptized in the Luthren church. She was a Sunday School scholar, a member of the Mission Band and the Junior League. After was brought home from the hospital, she sang her favorite songs. She was greatly disappointed in not getting to go to the Christmas entertainment.
A tree was decorated for her in the home and she was enjoying the Christmas spirit as she sang "Ring the Bells of Heaven". The bells rang and she went to see Him who gave Himself so that the world could enjoy the spirit of heaven.
Clara was like a ray of sunshine that comes to a drooping flower, a closed petal, a dark corner, for her presence raised the drooping head, opened the closed head and scattered the gloom from the dark corners of life. Yes! The ray came and went but they have extracted elements from that sunlight which has been greatly enriched. The memory of the flitting ray from the Son of Right couspess? will gladden and make happy many human flowers planted in this dark world.
