Death of Mrs. Meyer
Albertina Meyers
Albertina Hauser was born in Baden, Germany, January 18, 1835 and died at the home of her son William, April 9, 1905. age 70 years, 2 months, 21 days.
She came with her parens to Ohio in 1837 and was married to Conrad Meyers in 1853. They came to Iowa county, in 1867 and to Benton County in 1868 where she has sinced resided. To this union were born 8 children, 5 boys and 3 girls. One son, Joseph, died in infancy in 1872. All of the rest of her children were with her during her last illness except a daughter Lydia, who resides in Portland, Oregon. Her husband died October 11, 1889, since which time she has resided mostly with her son William.
The funeral services were held in the Mt. Pleasant church, and burial in the cemtery adoining.
