HASTINGS-Wanda L.Dalton,formerly of Vinton,died Saturday,Sept.19,1998,at Saint Joseph Hospital in Omaha,Neb.,unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack
She was born on Feb.12,1947 in Vinton,the daughter of John Olsen and Ruth(Bonesteel)Olsen. She married Charles Dalton on June 7,1969 in Witchita Falls,Texas. They farmed together in the Strahan area before moving to their present home northeast of Malvern.She worked many years for Kelcher Drug Store and both flower shops in Glenwood. She was currently employed by Country Side Travel in Glenwood. She ... attended the Washington Senior High School in Vinton
Survivors include her husband Charles Dalton;two sons,Larry Dalton,Council Bluffs;Lance Dalton and fiancee Monica Hatcher and her two children,Malvern;mother Ruth Olsen,Vinton;two sisters,Katheryn Dittmer,Vinton;Elaine Turpin, Galesburg, Ill.;numerous nieces,nephews,and many other relatives
She was preceded in death by her father,John Olsen;mother-in-law Wilma Dalton; and father-in-law Clarence Dalton
Funeral services were held today(Tuesday) at the Crawford Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor,the Rev. Michael Owens officiated.Burial was at the Tabor Cemetery
