Nicholas James Consamus
Vinton - N. J. Consamus, 61, Sunday evening following a short illness at the Virginia Gay hospital, was taken to the hospital Sunday morning; moved to Vinton in 1915; was a tinner but had operated the Mobiloil service station for several years; born Dec. 21, 1884 to Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Consamus; in 1907 he married Anna Hopp, who survives, with two daughters, Helen, Cedar Rapids and Irene, Chicago; eight brothers and sisters; rosary will be recited at the Fry-Holland funeral home Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock; funeral Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic church in Vinton; burial in Evergreen cemetery; family requests that flowers be omitted.
