Clarence Chizum
J.W. Chizum, two and a half miles from town, buried their infant son last Sabbath. It was a severe stroke on them as it was their only child. They have the sympathy of the entire community.

Henry Chizum
DIED-At his residence in Monroe township, Sunday October 25, 1891, Mr. Henry Chizum, aged 55 years. The funeral took place at the M.E. church in Garrison conducted by Rev. J. Haymond. He was buried in Carlisle Grove Cemetery. Mr. Chizum was sick only about a week but was a great sufferer. The family and friends have the sympathy of the entire community as was shown by the crowded house and the long funeral procession. Mrs. Rose Savage, of Nebraska, a daughter of Mr. Chizum, arrived here Tuesday on the 10:16 train just fifteen minutes before the funeral of her father took place. She did not know he was dead until she arrived here although she knew he was very sick.

Katie Bell Chizum
Big Grove, November 17th-Miss Katie Chizum died at her father's home in Big Grove, Sunday November 8th of diphteria. Other members of the family who have been likewise afflicted are recoving.
