Frank Cassel
Died, Frank Cassel, at Mt. Auburn July 21,from which place the corpse was brought here for interment, on the 10:20 train Monday, accompanied by the family and quite a number of relatives and friends. The remains were taken to the M.E. church, where a funeral discourse was delivered by Elder W.F. Pitner, of the M.E. church, assisted by Elders Clouse and Thompson, of the Baptist church then laid away in Oakwood cemetery beside his sister Katie, whose grave was filled one year ago and that of his father but three years since. Frank was born and lived in this town until last spring; was a good boy, of an exceptionally kind disposition, although of lively and mirthful nature, yet never engaging in sports, pastimes or words of a vicious sort. A year ago the past winter he professed conversion and joined the M.E. church, in that relation living consistently until death removed him. The community here sympathies sincerely with the sorely afflicted mother and family.
