Mrs. George Burkey Dead.

Mrs. Geo. Burkey died at the home of her son Charles in Garrison Monday morning at about 3 o’clock after quite a long illness. She was past seventy-two years of ago. Her husband preceded her in death about 14 years ago, since which time she has made her home with her sons. She was the mother of six children. Three sons, Chas., Will and John survive her. The funeral was held at the Methodist church in Garrison Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Logan having charge of the funeral in the absence of the pastor, Rev. Maxwell. Interment was made in the Garrison cemetery.
