Services Friday for Perry Burgess, Palo
Perry Burgess
Palo-Perry W. Burgess, 72, a farmer and lifelong resident of the Palo area, died in the Veterans hospital, Iowa City, early Tuesday following a brief illness.
Surviving are 2 sisters, Emaline O. Shannon and Adeline Dronebarger, both of Palo, a brother Theodore Burgess of Cedar Rapids. He was a member of the Methodist church and the American Legion of Palo.
Services: Palo Methodist church... Burial: Oakwood Cemetery at Shellsburg where military services will be conducted by the Legion...
