Laura L. Bisbee
Miss Laura L. Bisbee, a daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Bisbee was born October 2, 1880 in Jackson County, Iowa and died June 6, 1901 at the home of her parents in Eden Township. For several months she has been an uncomplaining suffer with that dread disease tuberculois, yet hoping ever for recovery. Only during the last three weeks of her life was confined to her room. All that love and skill could suggest were done for her in her brave battle for life but to no avail. She died calmy trusting in Savior whose devoted follower she had been for several years. The funeral was held in Garrison, conducted by Rev, Frank L. Loveland, assisted by Revs. Stubbs and Brown 06-11-1901 Eagle The funeral service of Miss Laura Bisbee, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawson Bisbee, of Eden township was held in the M.E. church Saturday June 8, conducted by Rev. F.L. Loveland of Vinton. The burial was at Carlisle Grove cemetery
