Services Held July 8 for Edward Beyer
Edward Beyer
Edward Beyer, 70, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital early Monday morning after a brief illness. He had been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Pudil, in Swisher since the death of his wife, Emma, on Jan. 5, 1962. He was a former employee of the Chicago and North Western railroad. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Beyer. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John.
Survivors are: a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Pudil, Swisher,; a son, Robert, Norway; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Holland and Mrs. Mary Sevening, both of Norway; and a brother, Ernest Beyer, Michigan.
Funeral services were held at St. Michael's Catholic church in Norway on Wednesday, July 8, at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Krocheski officiating. Burial was at St. Michael's cemetery.
