Audubon Township School #3 was also known as Ludwig school, because the Ludwig home was nearby. The Ludwig house still stands on Littlefield Drive, but the
school building no longer exists. The school sat at the top of a hill about 2 miles north of Littlefield Park. One of the pupils listed above, Emma Bertha Ludwig, later became the teacher for the school, teaching for 34 years (in 1924 and 1926-59).
