Brayton Grocery Store

This photo is from the collection of Carl and Christine (Anderson) Petersen and is circa 1890-1900. Christine's father, Andrew Hansen Anderson, worked in grocery stores at Brayton, Kimballton and Harlan during that time period. The man standing on the left in the photo appears to be A. H. Anderson. In 1902 the Anderson family moved to Lorah, in Cass County, where Andrew purchased a grocery store known as "A. H. Anderson and Son."
