"Kimballton is morally the cleanest town I know of in Iowa."--Geo. S. Faaborg. "The general solidity of the people."--T. G. Jensen. "That I love the town."--Jens Andersen. "That we are on the map."--Thomas B. Thomsen. "The modern school."--Peter Kirk, Sr. "That it's still here."--H. P. Boldt. "Church and school."--T. G. Muller. "The Landmands National Bank."--J. E. Tvenstrup. "Its nice and well kept residences."--Soren Sorensen. "Its water system and light plant."--H. C. Hansen. "That I like to live here."--Julius Larsen. "That its people will try mighty hard to do what's best for the city and the country."--P. Soe. "The school! An institution with its instructors that we should be proud of."--Frank Thomsen. "The great territory open to it and the opportunity for the best business point in the country."--Nels Mortensen. "My home, of course!"--Jens G. West. "---- ---- ----"--Ed. T. Esbeck. "I should like to live in Kimballton," said a young, newly-married woman, who had lived in large and beautiful cities all her life. Of course, we knew Kimballton and loved Kimballton, having lived here for years; but that a young woman of the world should care to live here was more than we had expected. "Why?" we asked in open astonishment. "Because,"she said, "The whole little town just breathes the word "Home."
