Cooley (Adams/Motto) Cemetery

Plesant Township, Section 2.
The cemetery is located south east of Numa. From highway J-46, take 185th Ave. south to the dead end. The cemetery sits on a small hill on the west side.
1/2 acre of land for the cemetery was deeded by Abaslom Adams, February 14, 1855. Depending on the owner of the farm surrounding it, the cemetery was known as Motto Cemetery, Adams Cemetery and Cooley Cemetery throughout the years.
