New Albin V.F.W. Post Honors New Albin Fire
Department
L-R: Post Commander Karl Krzbietke, Fire Chief Bob
Dresselhaus, and Adjutant Glenn Meyer
V.F.W. Post 5603 of New Albin recently presented a special citation to the New Albin Volunteer Fire Department. The members serve the surrounding rural area and also the small town of Reno, MN. The firemen also provide the fire district with ambulance service. This has been in effect since 1950. The men are trained to use different life support systems and C.F.R. The ambulance is maintained by donations, as the men do not charge for their services. The V.F.W. has many members on this department. V.F.W. Post 5603 salutes this fine organization.
