The Last Will and Testament of
Michael Coleman: Late of Allamakee County, Iowa. Deceased.

In the Name of God Amen:
I Michael Coleman of Cherry Mound, Allamakee County Iowa, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former will by me at any time heretofore made.

First I order and direct my Executor as soon after my decease as practicable to pay off and discharge all the debts dues and liabilities that may be due against me at the time of my decease.

Second I Give and bequeath to my wife, Mary Coleman full right to live in my house until her death. Also one cow and feed for the cow on the farm. Also firewood and her living off the farm until her death: Also $50.00 fifty dollars a year in cash as long as she lives. All this to be received from my son Thomas Coleman.

Third To my son Michael Coleman the sum of Five Dollars ($5.00)

Fourth To my son Patrick Coleman the sum of Five Dollars.

Fifth To my daughter Mary Ward the sum of Five Dollars.

Sixth To my daughter Catherine Coleman the sum of Five Dollars.

Seventh To my son Peter Coleman the sum of Five Dollars.

Eighth To my daughter Margaret Tracy the sum of Five Dollars

Ninth I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Coleman all of my real estate and personal property after paying the foregoing ligatures and all the debts dues and liabilities that may exist against me at the time of my decease.

Tenth I hereby nominate and appoint James F. Tracy to be my Executor : In witness where of I have hereunto subscribed my name this fifth day of September 1885 AD

The above and foregoing instrument was at the date thereof signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Michael Coleman as and for his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses.

Allamakee County
I D. M. Beance Clerk of the Circuit Court within and for the County of Allamakee, State of Iowa, hereby certify that on the 25th day of February AD 1886 The foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Michael Coleman, late of said County decease was by the said Court duly allowed and admitted to probate according to law, its execution having been duly proven according to law.
