Even though the Christmas season is busy .... our contributors
found the time to give Allamakee co. visitors many great gifts to

Those who pass before us are forever in our hearts ..... we
extend condolences to Dorothy Schave's family
Dorothy Schave 1920-2008. Dorothy's obituary scrapbook has been a
treasure-trove for countless family researchers in northeast
Iowa. Her daughter, Mary Durr, has spent hundreds of hours typing
the obits from Dorothy's scrapbooks to share with all.
