Mary Ann Cooper was the daughter of Robert and Jane (McEwan) Cooper. She was born in 1823 and passed Apr 19 1913. She married James Clark.

Edwin Cooper was born Dec 17, 1867 in Lansing, Allamakee county to George and Mary Ann (Henry) Cooper. He was married Caroline Elizabeth Reed Sep 29, 1897 by Reverend H.P.F King at the residence of J.E. Reed in Allamakee county.

Joseph Edward Reed was born abt. 1837 in Virginia to Joseph Bailey and unknown Reed. He married Juliette Ann King in Virginia. Juliette Ann King was born abt 1842 in Virginia to Rev. H.P.F and Neomia E King.

Caroline "Carrie" Elizabeth Reed was born Dec 5 1878 to Joseph Edward and Juliette Ann (King) Reed. Edwin and Caroline made their home at the Old Cooper Homestead in section 2 of Lansing Twp. Their children were born there, and are as follows:

Emma Cooper, born 1899, died on the day of her birth
Edwin Reed Cooper, born Dec 31, 1901 and died Aug 18, 1979
James Freeman Cooper, born in 1903 and died in 1961
Robert Burns Cooper, born in 1905 and died in 1950

Freeman Cooper, born bef. 1917 and died unknown
